Poster and Identity Design for Kieler Woche 2024.

The Kieler Woche is an annual sailing event in Kiel, it is the largest sailing event in Europe, and also one of the largest Volksfest in Germany, attracting millions of people every year from all over Germany and neighbouring countries.

This design reflects the depth of the sea, the vastness of the sky, freedom, meditation, a moment of calm in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the colorful diversity – also a contrast to the complex visuals of the last few years. It offers a striking image, a minimalist visual language that leaves room for individual associations and invites visitors of the Kieler Woche to create diverse, individual interpretations.
